The HIP-Star stretching wheel was developed by veterinarian Mag. Michael Estermann – based on years of experience in holistic horse therapy.
Through targeted impulses on key areas such as the chest, croup and neck, the stretching wheel helps to release muscular blockages , stimulate the fascia and activate the so-called “arch bridge” – for a stable, relaxed and pain-free horse.
Application in 4 Steps
1. Activate the Chest
Apply the wheel beneath the shoulder blade in a rolling motion – encourages the lifting of the chest and rounds the back.
2. Relax the Neck
Gently stroke along the lower base of the neck – helps the horse to release tension and let the neck drop naturally.
3. Tilt the Pelvis
Roll downwards over the croup – activates the hindquarters and promotes pelvic movement.
4. Integrate
After application, walk or lunge the horse loosely for 1–2 minutes – allowing it to store and embody the new body feeling.
