From the blanket to the brain
The BIOS magnetic field blanket works with neurostimulation: 30 coils in the blanket and neck section deliver gentle electromagnetic impulses. Via the skin's neuroreceptors they travel through the spinal cord to the brain, which regulates circulation, respiration and muscle tone. This can support cell activation, muscle relaxation, pain reduction, recovery and mental balance – 3–30 Hz (ELF), without a habituation effect.

Can the horse move freely during use?
The horse should be tied up and not lie down, so that plug connections and inlays are not damaged.
What's the difference to conventional magnetic blankets?
BIOS works with neurostimulation: signals travel through the skin via the spinal cord to the brain, which regulates the vital functions. Thanks to 6 programmes it can even be used with acute injuries and inflammation – unlike most magnetic blankets.
Can the blanket be used with acute injuries/inflammation?
Yes, thanks to the 6 programmes. Choosing the right programme is important; with acute injuries always consult a veterinarian.
Do I need a sweat rug underneath?
No, the blanket is applied directly on the horse. The cover is machine-washable at 30° (remove the inlay).
How long does an application take?
Usually 30 minutes (automatic shut-off); extendable to up to 2 hours via the app.
Are there contraindications?
Pregnancy, epilepsy/seizure disorders, electronic implants (e.g. pacemakers), acute infections, tumours, serious heart conditions. If in doubt, consult a veterinarian before use.
