❌ The Problem
Back problems are sadly a reality for many horses today. Shortened muscles, tense fascia, and a sagging back – the so-called suspension bridge – have become the everyday condition of many horses.
- ❗ Irregular rhythm, resistance, and rideability issues
- ❗ Muscle tension, kissing spines, lameness
- ❗ Compensation instead of healthy movement
👉 A lack of functional alignment of the spine – not an “arched bridge”, but muscular imbalance.

No more tension, poor posture and loss of performance!
Many horses today suffer silently from tension, back pain and poor posture.
A sagging chest, a stiff back, a flat pelvis, or stretched hindquarters lead to unrideability, irregular gait , resistance when riding, or even lameness . The cause usually lies in a disturbed interaction between muscles, joints, and movement habits – often due to incorrect training, old patterns, or protective postures.
The HIP-Star stretching wheel gently helps your horse regain its natural, healthy posture . It specifically activates the back and abdominal muscles, promotes posture and relaxation—and noticeably brings your horse into balance.

Discover natural freedom of movement for your horse
With the HIP-Star stretching wheel, you can help your horse gently release tension and find a healthy, self-supporting posture . This unique training tool was developed in collaboration with veterinarians and allows the horse to specifically straighten its ribcage and pelvis.
By specifically activating the back and abdominal muscles, not only is mobility improved, but also carrying capacity and balance are strengthened. The result: a relaxed back, a free hindquarters, and a horse that moves visibly more comfortably.
Application in 4 Steps
1. Activate the Chest
Apply the wheel beneath the shoulder blade in a rolling motion – encourages the lifting of the chest and rounds the back.
2. Relax the Neck
Gently stroke along the lower base of the neck – helps the horse to release tension and let the neck drop naturally.
3. Tilt the Pelvis
Roll downwards over the croup – activates the hindquarters and promotes pelvic movement.
4. Integrate
After application, walk or lunge the horse loosely for 1–2 minutes – allowing it to store and embody the new body feeling.
